Diabetes
Dr. Bodansky specialises in treating adult patients with diabetes.
He is an expert in the treatment of diabetes of all types, whether by diet, exercise, tablets or insulin. He is referred diabetic patients from across the UK and from abroad, particularly when there are problems with controlling diabetes and in cases with complications.

Erectile dysfunction
He is an expert in treating erectile dysfunction (male impotence).
He deals with men who have this problem not only from diabetes, but from other causes, such as ageing, circulatory disorders and as a side-effect of medical treatment. A variety of treatment options are available which can improve sexual function in most men. Men who have not responded to treatment so far can usually be helped.
General medical cases
Dr. Bodansky is referred a wide variety of general medical cases to diagnose and treat. Patients are usually referred from their general practitioner, because they are unwell and a clear diagnosis has not been made. Examples of these cases include unexplained weight loss or tiredness. A careful, unhurried history is the initial step in reaching a diagnosis
Hypertension
Hypertension (high blood pressure usually has no symptoms, but it may increase the risk of heart disease, stroke and kidney damage. Long term medication is usually required, and Dr. Bodansky has particular experience in the assessment and treatment of cases of hypertension.
Lipid disorders
Raised levels of lipids (fats) in the circulation, such as cholesterol, are a risk factor for coronary artery disease. Dr. Bodansky specialises in their treatment.
Medico-legal work
Dr. Bodansky undertakes medico legal work for both plaintiff and defence, with a split of about 50/50, although many cases are now dealt with as a single joint expert. His areas of expertise are:
